IAG Conference 2023: Perth, Western Australia
Postgrad Day – Tuesday 4th July 2023

The 2023 IAG Postgrad Day is an excellent opportunity for networking with your fellow postgraduate Geographers, building connections, sharing experiences, while also further developing skills relevant to research. The day encompasses three sessions, alongside lunch and refreshments in the same venue as the conference itself (Building 418, Curtin University). The Postgrad Day will then run through to the welcome reception and official opening of the IAG 2023 conference in the late afternoon of the same day (Tuesday 4th July).

The three sessions run across this day will broadly centre around publishing, development of your research agenda, and looking towards the next steps after the PhD. A number of guest speakers will assist in facilitating these sessions through the use of presentations, workshops, and interactive panel discussions. The sessions will all allow some excellent interactions, workshopping, and sharing of skills throughout the day.

Registration for the Postgrad Day is available when registering for the conference itself. Here, you will be able to select if you desire to attend the Postgrad Day. Note; the Postgrad Day is no additional cost to the conference registration.
